Tell us About Your Wedding - 

After 3 years of engagement, we finally had our dream wedding. Keenan and I got engaged in 2018 and decided on an original wedding date of August 2020. Given the circumstances, we had to push out our wedding day a year later and cut down our guest list. By then, I had many things finalized including a wedding dress. However, a lot can happen in 2-3 years and when December 2020 came around I was no longer in love with my dress. I decided to drive to Seattle with just my mom and visit The Dress Theory. With a vision in mind and the most incredible dress consultant, I had found "the one". The Sandra by Flora Bridal was my official wedding dress and it definitely influenced the vision of my wedding theme, decor, and details.

We chose Villa Catalana Cellars as our wedding venue because we knew we wanted a Spanish element to our day. As soon as you enter the vineyard you are transported to what feels like a piece of Italy. Being that it had botanicals of all kinds surrounding the location, we felt some additional florals with a soft color palette were the right addition. Our wedding planners designed everything from our tablescape to our bar and I was in complete awe seeing it all come to life.

August 14, 2021, of course had to be one of the hottest days of the year. While we were mostly prepared for heat, you really can't control the weather or what's to come from it. What you can control is how you choose to embrace it. Which is exactly what everyone attending our wedding did. Even as the bride, keeping cool and calm all day prevented me from breaking a sweat if you can believe it or not! When surrounded by people you love and celebrating a memorable event, it felt as if nothing could go wrong. This was an 11-year relationship that all led to this weekend. Keenan and I were so captivated by the flow of the entire day that we were able to fully focus on moments like saying our vows privately to each other, eating our delicious cuisine, and listening to heartfelt speeches. Everyone from Keenan, myself, and our guests of 100 were overcome by emotions, so many happy tears. I could not have imagined it going the way it did if it weren't for the support from our wonderful team of vendors.
